The Department of Informatics of the Neapolis University Pafos participates to the 1st Cyprus Robotex Challenge. Academic and student members of the Department participate both in the Scientific and the Organisational committees.
The Cyprus Computer Society (www.ccs.org.cy) organizes ROBOTEX17 based on the standards and regulations of the International Robotics Competition ROBOTEX Estonia (www.robotex.ee/en). The challenge will be held on the 27 of June 2017 at the Athletic Center Costas Papaellinas (formerly Keravnos Stadium) in Strovolos, Nicosia.
The competition aims to upgrade the field of educational robotics, the introduction of robotics technology in the educational process at all levels, the enhancement of the scientific fields of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) and the promotion of new learning methods amongst students and educators.
