Award ceremony for the businesses’ contribution to the Project

“University Liaison Offices with the Labour Market”

 

 

The award ceremony for the five companies with the greatest contribution and cooperation in the framework of the Project “University Liaison Offices with the Labour Market” was organized with great success on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

The Liaison Office of Neapolis University Pafos, from the beginning of its operation until today, has managed to cooperate with many companies in different economic activities, for the purpose of students’ placements aiming at gaining professional experience, promoting joint actions of educational and professional interest as well as connecting the academic community and the business world.

The award was a sign of gratitude for the companies that support the actions and vision of Neapolis University Pafos but also the Liaison Office’s initiatives. Prof. Pantelis Sklias, Rector of Neapolis University Pafos addressed a greeting and welcomed everyone to the award ceremony. Short greetings have been also addressed on behalf of the University of Cyprus, by Mr. George Magos, Project Manager and by Mrs. Georgia Christou, Project Representative of Neapolis University Pafos.

ARMONIA Estates Ltd, a member of the Leptos Group of Companies was one of the awarded companies. On behalf of ARMONIA Estates Ltd, Mrs. Stella Delitsikou, HR Manager, received the award. INTERSPORT Athletics Cyprus Ltd of the Fourlis Group of Companies was also awarded while Mr. Alexandros Voukatos, Stores Manager Cyprus, received the award. The Co-founder of AGP AUDIT & CONSULTING SERVICE LTD, Mr. Panikos Omerou was also awarded as well as Mr. Christos Zivlas, Infrastructure Manager from the IT company TRANSΑLIS LTD and Mr. Giorgos Mavrikios, Director of STATARE BRANDS LTD.

Neapolis University Pafos aiming at academic excellence, innovation and interactive communication with the business world and the labour market, is constantly strengthening and expanding its collaborations with companies, organizations and institutions, in the private, public and semi-public sector. The Liaison Office’s vision is this award to be an incentive for more collaborations with the business world in order to expand the network of their collaborators.
