Neapolis University Pafos Participates in Volunteer Beach Clean Up Initiative at Aktaia Odos, Limassol

Neapolis University Pafos took part in a volunteer beach clean up initiative at Aktaia Odos in Limassol on Monday, 29 June. The initiative was organised by the Leptos Group in collaboration with City Friends Club Limassol and brought together employees, students, volunteers and members of the local community with the shared goal of protecting the coastal environment and promoting environmental awareness.

The initiative was held in the presence of the Mayor of Limassol, Mr Giannis Armeftis, highlighting the value of cooperation between educational institutions, businesses and local communities in addressing environmental challenges.

Participants collected litter and recyclable materials from the beachfront, sending a clear message that protecting the natural environment is a shared responsibility.

For Neapolis University Pafos, social responsibility is an integral part of its mission. Through volunteer initiatives and active engagement with society, the University fosters the values of responsibility, service and environmental stewardship among its students, staff and partners.
