The Department of Computer Science aims to provide its students with modern knowledge and skills that will enable them to contribute effectively to scientific, socio-economic and cultural development. The Department offers curricula promoting research and innovation and maintains a high level of excellence in the production of knowledge.

Furthermore, it meets the local and national needs and promotes links with local ICT communities. At the same time, the Department equips its students with technical, analytical, ethical, and leadership skills, enhancing their decision-making ability within the context of a continuously changing and competitive technological environment.
