Dr. Panagiotis Kyriakogonas is a member of the International Institute of Internal Auditors. He is Certified Internal Auditor (C.I.A.), Certified Government Auditing Professional (C.G.A.P.) and Certified in Control Self-Assessment (C.C.S.A.). He is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece and a holder of a license to practice the tax profession of first class. He is also a member of the Register of Internal Auditors of the Ministry. Finance. Has extensive experience of over 15 years in internal auditing in both listed and unlisted companies. He also has more than 15 years of experience in providing accounting and tax services to various companies. He holds a degree in Public Administration from Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, a postgraduate degree in Management from the University of Lancaster in the United Kingdom and a PhD in Business Administration from the University of the Aegean.
He has participated in international conferences and has published original articles and studies in peer-reviewed journals and in the special press on issues related to accounting, corporate governance, internal control systems and internal audit and has more than 5 years of teaching experience, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. His research interests cover the disciplines of corporate governance, accounting, risk management and auditing.
