The 18th Congress of Emergency Surgery and Trauma, which was organised by Neapolis University in Cyprus on Thursday, 21 May 2015, was met with great success. The topic of the conference was:
“Emergency Surgery and Trauma Conference. ‘Necrotizing’ Soft Tissue Infections: Common diagnostic and Therapeutic Pitfalls”.
The key-speaker of the conference was Dr Demetris Demetriades.
Dr Andreas Masouras, , Lecturer of Communication and Media Policy, addressed the conference on behalf of Neapolis University in Cyprus and pointed out that one of the goals of the University is to promote both theoretical and practical education and research in Emergency Medicine in Cyprus through research seminars and specialized programs.
The conference, which had a great attendance, was held in the presence of the President of Neapolis University in Cyprus Mr Michael Leptos, the Rector of the University Professor Spyros Makridakis, and representatives of the Municipality of Paphos and Paphos General Hospital.
