A dominant concern of Neapolis University in Cyprus, is to develop new partnerships with institutional foundations and prominent members of the public and private sectors of the economy at home and abroad, for the benefit of its students and teaching staff. With that philosophy in mind, representatives of the University visited the Bank of Greece. The representatives were, Professor Spyros Vliamos, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University and Dr. Andreas Moleskis, Director of Finance and Administration of the University, who visited the Deputy Governor of the Bank of Greece Prof. John Mourmoura and exchanged views on future collaboration between the two institutions. Representatives of Neapolis invited Mr. Mourmoura to participate in an open seminar scheduled to be organized in the near future by the School of Economics and Business of Neapolis for members of the economy and he gladly accepted the invitation. Mr. Mourmouras will develop issues related to monetary easing (QE) in the European Union. The seminar will take place at the beginning of May 2016.
The university will promptly announce the timetable and the agenda of the open seminar where others members will be invited to present issues of their specialization to distinguished members of the economy and society of Cyprus and Greece.
