The Distance Learning MA in Modern and Contemporary History of Neapolis University in Cyprus has its first graduate. Nikolaos Vrisimtzis successfully defended his MA Dissertation on “From the liberating struggle of EOKA to the divisive confrontation of EOKA B”, and he will thus participate in the graduation ceremony that will take place on September 27th. This is the first MA Dissertation to be successfully defended in the framework of the said MA Program. Emphasis on research is one of the key priorities of postgraduate studies and has thus been incorporated in the education process of our University, in accordance with international quality standards. We congratulate Mr. Vrisimtzis for his exceptional work and we are confident that this is only the start for similar research and writing attempts from other postgraduate students.
