The Department of History, Politics and International Studies of the School of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities of Neapolis University in Cyprus announces the availability of three (3) positions for the completion of a doctoral dissertation for the Academic Year 2020-2021, in the field of Modern and Contemporary History.
The call for applications is open to candidates from the European Union and Third Countries who hold a Master’s Degree from Philosophy, Law and Pedagogy Schools, as well as from Departments of History, Political Science, Sociology, International Relations, European Studies, Mass Media and Journalism, and other Departments of Greek and European Culture. Holders of a Master’s Degree in other academic fields can also apply in order to complete a dissertation in the History of their scientific discipline.

Those interested can apply in person or through an authorized representative. Otherwise, they can submit their application through courier services or they can submit an application by September 30, 2020 electronically. The online application is available in the following weblink.
The evaluation of the admission applications will be carried out by the Evaluation Committee consisting of the members of the Coordinating Committee of the Doctoral Thesis Program. Candidates will also be interviewed by the Evaluation Committee.
In addition to the quality of the research proposal, the Evaluation Committee will take into account any scientific publications of the candidate.
The minimum duration for obtaining a Doctoral Degree is three (3) full academic years from the date of registration and the appointment of a Three-Member Advisory Committee of the Doctoral Program.
