Our department of History, Politics and International Studies is a point of reference for both Cyprus and the international community. With interdisciplinary subjects and most important sociological disciplines. Through our nationally accredited programs, we strive for academic and scientific excellence in teaching and in research. Our department is constantly enriched with new faculty and new disciplines assuring market efficiency, while we lead with capacity building measures for the international market.
Our Department offers high-quality graduate, post-graduate and third level studies. Our academic scientists constantly enhanced their own knowledge, skills and competencies, by participating and enhancing scientific and professional dialogue, while transpiring information to our students and teaching out of empirical experiences. Our graduates in all three levels of offered degrees (Bachelor, Master and PhD), graduate as critical thinkers, pioneers and leaders in their respective fields They accumulate knowledge, join our scientific work and participate in developing further knowledge while pioneering and forecasting our common future. We, collectively and individually contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge, in Cyprus, in our common European Union space but also to our international community.

OUR COLLABORATORS
Beyond cooperating with local agencies, the Department is developing international partnerships. So far, it has been cooperating with the Centre for International and European Political Economy and Governance of the University of Peloponnisos (Greece). This cooperation includes a joint doctoral dissertation program.
The Department has also been cooperation with the European Network of Political Institutions, based in Brussels.
It is also an active member of the United Nations Academic Impact Curriculum and participates in international scientific associations in disciplines associated with its fields of study.
