Within the framework of the Erasmus program, the Law School of Neapolis University in Cyprus has organized specialized lectures on comparative criminal law with the participation of two distinguished visiting professors from the Czech Republic (12 -16 October 2014). Criminal Law Professors Dr. Vera Kalvodova and Dr. Marek Frystak, from the Law School of the Masaryk University (Czech Republic) gave a series of lectures on a wide range of intriguing topics, such as criminal proceedings, economic crime and the prison system.
The lectures were attended by the academic staff and the students of the Law School, who actively participated in the discussions that followed. The academic visit and the lectures were organized with the valuable assistance of the Erasmus Office of our University and the teaching staff of the Law School (G. Pavlidis and A. Savvidou).
