Graduate students of the Department of Theology of Neapolis University were welcomed at the Holy Monastery of Chrysorogiatisas last Friday, in the frames of their new collaboration between the University and the Monastery.
The aim of this collaboration is the use, by the Students of Neapolis University, of the rich and rare material of the Library of the Monastery, which includes religious sources and other material such as history, geography and literature.
The Abbot of the Monastery said that close cooperation between the Monastery and Neapolis University will develop, while Professor George Marzelos, Director of the postgraduate program of theological studies, said that the main aim is for the students to get to know the richness of the monastery and to make use of it.
The Chrysorrholatisis Library. includes more than five thousand volumes and the catalogue will be added to Neapolis University library database.
