The Symposium on Sustainable Urban Planning and Design, which was co-organized by the Planning Board and the Department of Town Planning and Housing, was successfully completed on May 13, 2016. The Neapolis University in Cyprus was represented by Dr. Ioannis Pissourios, Lecturer in Urban Planning and Design. Dr. Ioannis Pissourios presented the Integrated Urban Development Plan of Paphos Municipality and discussed how it can be used to enrich the planning methodology employed for the preparation of the Development Plans in Cyprus. The Symposium was attended by professors in urban planning and design from various universities from different countries, such as Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Sweden and Italy.
