Graduates of the Master of Landscape Architecture of Neapolis University, Pavlos Zanos and George Charalambous, presented papers, which were part of their Master Thesis, together with Ass. Prof. Julia Georgi, Head of the Department of Architecture, Land and Environmental Sciences at the 18th Panhellenic Forestry Conference in Edessa, as well as the 1st International Workshop: Information Technology, Sustainable Development, Scientific Network and Nature Protection, which was conducted in Edessa on October 8-11.
In particular, Paul Zanos, along with his professor, Dr. Georgi presented a paper at the 1st International Workshop with the title: The public perception towards the Green Areas in Nicosia, Cyprus and the sustainable development of the Linear Park of Pedieos River while George Charalambous together with his professor of Dr. Georgi, presented a paper titled: Exploitation of Peri-Urban Forests. Case study of Periurbam Forest of Athalassa in Nicosia and Periurban Forest of Pegeia, Pafos.
The Minister of Environment and Energy of Greece, Mr. Socrates Famelos, welcomed the conference.
