On June 12, 2015 the closing ceremony of the 52nd World Congress of Landscape Architects (9-12 June) took place in St. Petersburg, in which Dr. Julia Georgi, Associate Professor of Landscape Architecture and Chairman of the Department of Architecture and Environmental Sciences participated on behalf of the University of Neapolis presenting her paper entitled “Cultural Landscapes of Cyprus as an Educational Design Tool”. The World Congress of Landscape Architects was attended by representatives from 70 different countries around the world. Also, Dr. Julia Georgi was a member of the IFLA World Council Meeting in Moscow (8-9 June) during which important decisions on the future of the profession of landscape architects worldwide were taken.
Finally the organization of the International Conference was promoted the 5th LE:NOTRE Landscape Forum to be held on 16-20th of March 2016 by Neapolis University in Cyprus at the premises of the Coral Beach Hotel & Resort ( https://www.nup.ac.cy/news/organization-of-the-5th-international-conference-le-notre-landscape-forum-pafos-2016-from-neapolis-university-in-cyprus/)
