Student of Landscape Architecture Visited the Environmental Information Center in Episkopi

Postgraduate students of Landscape Architecture program at the Neapolis University in Cyprus, accompanied by Dr. Julia Georges, Assoc. Professor of Landscape Architecture and Dr. Anna Maria Visilia, Architect – Landscape Architect, visited the Environmental Information Center in Episkopi, the Minthis Hills – Cyprus Golf resorts, Agios Neophytos and the Hotel Coral Beach, in order to study the formation of the environment, to imprint the plans construction system, the distribution of individual plants and trees that make up the landscape architecture.
The students also visited the Botanical Park “Eliouthkia” within the framework of the course «Plant Characteristics and Ecology». Students had the opportunity to study a theme park, in 20,000 sq. areas with over 180 different plants species, which are distributed in 13 thematic gardens. Tryphonas Tryphonos, Agronomist and Vice President of the Pancyprian Union of Agronomists, owner of the Park referred to the biodiversity followed by a discussion on the characteristics of species and their ecological importance.
