The well-known businessman from Kyrenia and founder of the “Leptos Group” Michalakis Leptos has passed away today at the age of 83

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Michael Leptos, Founder and Executive Chairman of the Leptos Group of Companies.

Mr. Leptos was a self-made entrepreneur and pioneer in the real estate, tourism, education and healthcare sectors in Cyprus and Greece. A highly respected individual both locally and internationally, Mr. Leptos played a major part in the contribution of Cyprus’ economy, and was honoured by a plethora of renowned organisations and foreign governments.

His loss will be sorely felt by many.
