The Master in Landscape Architecture of Neapolis University in Cyprus participated at the Workshop in Architecture and Urban Design OPEN CITY International Summer School: New Next Nature Scenario for Piacenza 2040, which took part at the Piacenza Campus of Politecnico di Milano, between the period 7th September 2017 – 15th September 2017 with the participation of 100 students from 20 different countries, not only from Europe but also from China, Japan, Egypt, Brazil, etc. The organizers were Prof. Guya Bertelli, Prof. Victor Ténez Ybern, Prof. Sara Protasoni, and Prof. Carlos Garcia Vázquez.
Dr. Julia Georgi, Assoc. Professor and Head of the Department of Architecture Land and Environment of Neapolis University was member of the jury committee.
The results and the awards were announced on the last day of the workshop, Friday September 15th, within a special event that took place in Piacenza, at the Campus of Politecnico di Milano, with the presence of Prof Emilio Faroti, Vice- Rector of Politecnico di Milano, the Vice Rector of Piacenza Campus Prof. Dario Zaninelli and the Dean of Architecture Prof. Ilaria Valente.
