Neapolis Research Office (NRO) announces that the University has won participation and funding in two separate Erasmus+ programs

The Neapolis Research Office (NRO) announces that the University has won participation and funding in two separate Erasmus+ programs. The first program has been won jointly by the schools or Architecture and Management, it has the acronym InHERiT and involves promoting cultural heritage as a Generator of Sustainable Development. The impacted field is categorized as “Strategic Partnerships for adult Education” and the coordinator is the Technical University of Crete.  Other partners come from Greece, the United Kingdom, Italy and Cyprus. The program will run for 3 years and has a total budget of 445919.00. On behalf of the university Prof. S. Xenopoulos, Prof. M. Sioulas and Prof. S. Makridakis will run the project. The second Erasmus+ has been won directly be researches of the NRO and it involves the collaboration of partners towards a different and innovative approach to traditional teaching of STEM subjects (science, maths, physics and chemistry).  Its main goal is to attract young, mostly female students to the areas of science and engineering.  The program has the acronym Engine4F and its impacted field is categorized as “Strategic Partnerships for school education.”  The partners come from Portugal, Spain, Italy, Estonia and Cyprus and coordinator is the school of vocational education AEVA in Aveiro Portugal. On behalf of the university Dr Natia Anastasi will run the project and for the project the university will collaborate with two local high schools in Pafos.
