“Architektonikes Theseis – Architecture Theses | 1”: New bilingual edition by the Department of Architecture, Land and Environmental Sciences
Neapolis University Pafos announces the publication of the bilingual volume “Architektonikes Theseis – Architecture Theses | 1”, by Propobos Publications, under the scientific editing of Dr. Evanthia Dova, Lecturer, and Dr. Ioannis A. Pissourios, Associate Professor, in the Department of Architecture, Land and Environmental Sciences.
The publication includes all the diploma projects by the graduates of the Neapolis University Pafos Program in Architecture, which were completed between 2015 and 2020. It also includes the extracurricular activities of the Department (exhibitions, workshops, events), in order to highlight the research directions and spatial inquiries of the Department’s students and faculty, while exploring the position of the Program in the wider field of architectural education.
The volume presents the Architectural Theses (and the architectural positions contained within) of a new generation of architects, aspiring to make them part of the wider discourse on Architecture and architecture studies. We believe that the result allows for a variety of perspectives in approaching and understanding spatial design, and that it successfully outlines the profile of the Neapolis University Pafos Program in Architecture as a dynamic and multidimensional system of production and communication of architectural knowledge.
The publication was made possible with the generous contribution of the Neapolis University Pafos Department of Architecture, Land and Environmental Sciences and the Cyprus Architects Association, and it is available online at: https://www.propobos.gr/product/architecture-theses_1/
It is dedicated to all our graduates along with our deepest gratitude for their confidence.
