On Friday, May 22, 2015 at Neapolis University in Cyprus a conference was held from the Education Action Zones (EAZ) Theoskepastis in Paphos.
The aim of the conference was to present the changes that are been planned by the Ministry of Education regarding the school grading criteria so that some of them can join the schools.
In addition, Assistant Professor at the University of Cyprus, Mrs Zelia Gregoriou analysed the classification of schools with the use of the Critical Theory (power and ranking and the philosophy of education). At the end of the conference a workshop titled: “From Colour Blindness to Critical Race Theory” followed.
