The Open Day of Neapolis University in Cyprus was successfully held in Heraklion, Crete on Friday 7 September 2018. Dr. Antonis Klapsis, Assistant Professor at Neapolis University, and father Theologos Alexandrakis, Academic Collaborator at Neapolis University, presented the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes offered at Neapolis. The two speakers underlined the high qualifications of the academic staff and the high level of education offered at Neapolis which is confirmed by the fact that all the degrees of Neapolis University are fully recognized in Greece and are equivalent to those given by Greek universities. They also referred to the safety of life in Pafos, as well as to the daily flights that connect Crete with Cyprus. Special reference was made to the distance learning postgraduate programmes which give the opportunity to students of obtaining a Master’s degree without moving from their place of origin, as lectures are delivered online and exams are held at the end of each semester at Heraklion. Last but not least, the two speakers analysed the scholaships’ programmes offered by Neapolis University.
