Following the relevant decision of its Senate, Neapolis University Pafos announces the start of the winter semester of the academic year 2021-2022 with the physical presence of its academic community within its premises and the in-person process of conventional educational teaching.
The relevant protocols of the Republic of Cyprus as well as the defined rules of entry and stay in public spaces will be strictly adhered to, in order to ensure the health, safety and comfortable living and function on the University’s premises of all members of the academic community, but also to avoid the spread of the pandemic to the local community of Pafos and the wider region.
The Rector of the University and President of the Cyprus Rectors’ Conference prof. Sklias Pantelis stated in this regard:
“With this decision we fully ensure the health, safe living and return to the normal provision of our educational and support services to the student community.
At the same time, we strengthen the effort of the Republic, addressing the youth, urging and encouraging our academic community towards vaccination to stop the spread of the pandemic and its unfortunate consequences for the social and productive fabric of our homeland.
We are certain that this decision will mark the further return to normalcy and will be viewed very positively by the entire student community inside and outside the borders of the Republic of Cyprus.”
