On Sunday May 10 the first three-day workshop completed, on Sustainable Water Management and Irrigation organized by the Master of Landscape Architecture. The workshop was held under the auspices of the Israeli Embassy in Cyprus, where Greeks, Cypriots and Israeli scientists brought their experiences on sustainable water management and irrigation.
The event was welcomed by the Rector of the Neapolis University in Cyprus, Professor Spyros Makridakis, the Mayor of Paphos, Phaidona Phaidonos, the Sami Abu Janeb, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of Israel in Cyprus and spoke Ioannis Koutsolampros, Architect, Member of the Board of “Paphos 2017 “for the Sustainable Management of Water and specialized scientists irrigation issues, John Stathakopoulos, Agronomist of EGNATIA ODOS SA and the Ministry of Environment of Greece, Dubi Segal, Product Management and Water Treatment, NETAFIM and Tova Levinov, Agronomist, who with appropriate recommendations brought their scientific knowledge and their experience in Greece and Israel.
Then the scientists guided the students of the Master of Landscape Architecture for the realization of the Study Irrigation System Paphos Archaeological Museum and the Environment Area of Residence District Officer.
