Incoming Staff

Neapolis University Pafos welcomes academic and administrative staff members from partner institutions abroad under the Erasmus+ Programme for:

  • Staff Mobility for Teaching (STA)
  • Staff Mobility for Training (STT)

Staff mobility promotes the exchange of knowledge, the development of institutional partnerships, and the internationalisation of the University.

Eligibility Requirements

In order to carry out a staff mobility period at Neapolis University Pafos, the following are required:

  • a valid Erasmus+ Inter-Institutional Agreement, where applicable;
  • prior communication and agreement with the relevant academic department and/or the Erasmus Office;
  • submission of a draft Mobility Agreement for Teaching or Training;
  • final approval by Neapolis University Pafos.

Procedure for Staff Mobility for Teaching (STA)

Step 1: Initial Contact

The interested staff member contacts the relevant academic department or the Erasmus Office and indicates:

  • the preferred dates,
  • the academic field,
  • the purpose of the visit.

Step 2: Mobility Agreement for Teaching

The interested staff member submits a Mobility Agreement including a detailed teaching programme.

Step 3: Approval

The relevant academic department evaluates the proposal and, if approved, the Mobility Agreement is signed.

Step 4: Implementation

The participant must deliver at least 8 hours of teaching per week or for any shorter period of stay.

Step 5: Certificate of Attendance

Upon completion of the mobility, the Erasmus Office issues a Certificate of Attendance.

Procedure for Staff Mobility for Training (STT)

Step 1: Initial Contact

The interested staff member sends a request to the Erasmus Office indicating:

  • the preferred dates,
  • the training topic,
  • the objectives of the mobility.

Step 2: Planning of Activities

The Erasmus Office, in cooperation with the relevant departments and services, prepares a programme of activities, which may include:

  • working meetings,
  • job shadowing,
  • presentations,
  • participation in a staff training week.

Step 3: Mobility Agreement for Training

The interested staff member submits a Mobility Agreement for Training.

Step 4: Approval and Implementation

Following approval, the participant carries out the agreed programme.

Step 5: Certificate of Attendance

Upon completion of the mobility, the Erasmus Office issues a Certificate of Attendance.

Financial Matters

Neapolis University Pafos does not provide financial support to incoming staff participants. Funding is arranged and provided by the sending institution.
