The seminar entitled “Police and History” organized on July, 8 by the Department of History, Politics and International Studies in cooperation with Pafos Police was held with great success.
Attending the seminar was Assistand Police Director Mr. Nikos Tsappis, high ranking members of the police force, Senior Officers and Members of the Pafos Police. All members had the opportunity to be informed of police and local history subjects, old pafos press and history matters.
Professor Giorgos Georgis, Former Ambassador of Cyprus in Greece and Lecturers Mrs. Katerina Papazacharia and Mr. Kyriakos Iakovides were the speakers. The coordination role on behalf of the School of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities was held by the Programme Administrator of the School, Mrs. Despina Konstantinides.
