As part of the close co-operation between the Accounting and Finance department of Neapolis University in Cyprus and the leading audit firm Price Waterhouse Coopers, a cash prize was awarded on Tuesday 13.10.2020 at the premises of the University to Mrs Tadiwanashe Nembaware who graduated top of her year in the Bachelor’s programme of Accounting Banking and Finance.
Present at the award ceremony on behalf of the University were the Rector, Professor Pantelis Sklias and the Head of the Accounting and Finance department, Associate Professor Andreas Hadjixenophontos. Both of them reiterated the declared position of the University for the interconnection and interaction of academic knowledge and applied research with prominent companies which are leaders in the job market. Price Waterhouse Coopers was represented by Senior Manager, Mrs Eleni Vassiliou.
The award was delivered on behalf of Price Waterhouse Coopers by Mrs Eleni Vassiliou who referred to the firm’s excellent existing cooperation with Neapolis University and the firm’s intention to continue awarding the same prize every year to the top student of the Accounting, Banking and Finance programme as part of the firm’s policy to provide incentives and rewards for outstanding academic performance.
