The Cyprus Youth Clubs Organization (KOKEN) and the Neapolis University in Cyprus are conducting a nationwide survey between 10- 30 July 2020 in order to examine the effects of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on mental health and lifestyle changes of the Cypriot population.
The main aim of the survey is to examine the attitudes, challenges and changes that have appeared as a result of the lockdown due to the pandemic. The survey’s primary focus is on the current state of mental health, changes of lifestyle and the emotional state of the population in Cyprus and to a greater extent the support given by one’s family and the social environment.
The research is coordinated by the faculty of Neapolis University in Cyprus Dr. Marilena Mousoulidou, Dr. Michailina Siakalli and Dr. Andri Christodoulou. The Cyprus Youth Clubs Organization (KOKEN) has undertaken to promote the survey among young people in Cyprus in order to gain a more representative sample among the ages 18-40. The results of the survey will be used as part of a broader Mental Health Improvement Program that will be implemented in 2021.
