21 Sept. 2015, The Law School of Neapolis University in Cyprus organized a welcome cocktail reception at the University on Thursday 17th September for the delegates of the International Arbitration Conference, which took place in Paphos the day after.
Lawyers from various countries around the world attended the cocktail reception, as well as the Mayor of Paphos, Mr. Phaedon Phaedonos, the President of the Council of the University, Mr. Michael Leptos, faculty of the University and students of The Law School.
The opening address of the night was presented by the Vice President of the University Council, Mr. George Leptos, followed by a short welcome by Mr. Petros Artemis, former President of the Higher Court of the Republic of Cyprus, and Mr. Thomas Nektarios Papanastasiou, Lecturer of Law School. Both emphasized the importance of international arbitration for the law and business world of Cyprus and that the Law School of Neapolis University in Cyprus encourages, conducts and promotes regular research in the field of law.
