The vision of the Department of Economics and Business is to become a center of academic excellence in innovative education and research, acknowledged by the public, the student community and the labor market.
The mission of the Department of Economics and Business is to foster academic knowledge through providing high quality research and convey that knowledge to students through undergraduate and graduate study programmes, in order to prepare students for their professional careers.

The Department offers a rigorous and challenging curriculum based on a solid foundation in economic and business theory, quantitative methods and management specific knowledge and skills. The Department offers two conventional undergraduate degrees, one in business administration and one in digital business, five conventional postgraduate programme degrees – the Master in Public Administration (MPA) has three different directions in both Greek and English, and five distance learning postgraduate programme degrees – the distance learning Master in Public Administration (MPA) also has three different directions.
